Schedule 2008 January 17
Public Hearings and Upcoming Agenda Items
Click here for the most current Conservation Commission Agenda New Connector Trail A new connector trail, linking Greenwood St. to Washington St. and the entrance to the 60-acre public parcel known as the Bailey Trail, has been cleared by Sherborn's able Highway Department. The Conservation Commission is arranging for signage at the trail entrances. In the meantime, the Greenwood St. entrance can be found opposite #21 Greenwood. The Commission invites you to come take a short walk and enjoy this new public space. The new quarter-mile trail, made possible by the generous granting of an easement to the town by the Buntin family, winds past rock outcroppings, a stand of mature hemlocks and a vernal pool. The connector trail crosses a number of minor elevation changes---equestrian users should pass with caution. All trail users are advised to use utmost care when crossing Washington St. to reach the Bailey Trail. Happy hiking!
